Dr Anu Idicula is an admitted patent attorney, with specific technical expertise in biotechnology, pharma and related fields with her technical background being a PhD in Biochemistry and multiple post-doctoral roles. She is an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa. With nearly 15 years of post-qualification experience, she is recognised as a seasoned intellectual property (IP) lawyer, adept at navigating complex legal, commercial
and technical matters to assist her wide range of clients.

Throughout her career, Dr Idicula has provided strategic advice to a wide range of clients, including small businesses, medium enterprises, and large corporations. Her expertise encompasses deal structuring and transactions involving intellectual property, such as assignments, licensing, manufacturing, distribution, agency, technology transfer, and research and development agreements. She is skilled in facilitating collaboration agreements, investment structuring, conducting IP audits, undertaking due diligence, and performing IP valuations for various IP transactional deals. She has assisted her clients in technology and IP asset management, developing strategic partnerships and takes pride in the journey with her clients from IP development to commercialisation.
